POWDER ROOM MAKEOVER!!!

When I bought my house this is how the powder room looked....

NO SINK!!!!!!!! AND THE MIRROR WAS NO LONGER ATTACHED TO THE WALL!

As you can see the wall is a boring beige color but thankfully it did come with a working toilet!

The bathroom did not come with a toilet tissue holder so my mother gifted me this one. We were at Bed Bath and Beyond one day and she found this in the clearance section for only 8 bucks! These stands normally start at $15.

I decided to paint stripes to accent the back wall with two colors I found at Sherwin Williams called Crème and Watery. I didn't want all of the blue stripes to be the exact same width so I made the stripes on the outside wider than the rest(keeping them the same width) As they come in they get smaller, and the one in the middle a little bit wider than the smaller stripes.

I found this sign at HomeGoods and was the inspiration for the colors I chose to paint my walls. Rule number one WASH YOUR HANDS!!!!!

This mirror was the driving force behind remodeling my bathroom.

I was at HomeGoods and saw this very large, heavy and rustic mirror and thought this would be perfect for my mirror-less powder room!

It was the biggest pain to hang up! After measuring incorrectly on my first attempt and spending an hour trying to hang it up while standing on a ladder with that sink in the way.....its finally up there!!!!

According to the sticker on the front of the mirror it was MADE IN INDIA and my guess is that it weighed about 20 pounds. It also was a bit of a splurge. It rang up to $59.99...and worth every penny!

Bought this coastal hand soap dispenser from HomeGoods as well for less than 10 bucks. Its light blue with little seahorses and starfish around it.

I saw this blue rustic ledge at HomeGoods and thought it would be a perfect shelf to store extra tissue, maybe some lotion and bathroom spray!!!(coming soon)
Here's a close up of the ledge, the easiest thing I put up in this bathroom.
